An over-the-top comedy which satirizes and pays homage to drive-in, creature-feature horror films of the 1950s!
From the depths of space, Dracula has devised his most dastardly plan yet; turning the residents of the small town of Marlow into his personal army of vampire zombies! A motley crew consisting of a grizzled detective, a skeptical rookie cop, a chain-smoking greaser, and a determined young woman band together to save the world from VAMPIRE ZOMBIES...FROM SPACE! An over-the-top comedy which satirizes and pays homage to drive-in, creature-feature horror films of the 1950s, Whitehall, Montana's historic Star Theatre was selected as an official location for the movie's DRAC ATTACK TOUR! Producer Gerry Lattmann contacted Gold Junction Presents in July, not knowing that Whitehall hosts the largest, top-rated haunted house Screams Come True in October. After several talks, a VIP event was born for October 16th, with a premiere weekend of October 17-19 at the Star Theatre. If you put Mel Brooks, Ed Wood, and South Park into a blender, you'd get VAMPIRE ZOMBIES...FROM SPACE! an over-the-top comedy which satirizes and pays homage to all the greats! 1stReviews gave it four stars, stating "The vampire and zombie version of Spaceballs...aka perfection." It's the latest film from award-winning writer-director Mike Stasko (The Birder, Boys vs. Girls) and award-winning comedy writers Jakob Skrzypa and Alex Forman (Your Money's No Good Here, Fun Uncle, Funny or Die). VAMPIRE ZOMBIES...FROM SPACE! features a horde of appearances by cult icons, including Night of the Living Dead's Judith O'Dea, Troma's Lloyd Kaufman, Tim & Eric's David Liebe Hart, and SAW VI's Simon Reynolds. Gold Junction Presents, in conjunction with Screams Come True, will offer a VIP Package for October 16th, the premiere at 6:30PM and a behind-the-scenes tour of Screams Come True haunted house at 9PM, with tickets on sale now. The film will be that weekend's show, playing Friday, October 17th at 7 PM; Saturday, October 18th at 3:30 PM and 7 PM; and Sunday, October 19th at 3:30 PM and 7 PM.
